Climate of the land

Delhi has extreme variations between summer and winter. Delhi is a humid sub-tropical region. The summers are very hot and humid. Heat waves are common. The rainy season starts a little late than most of the cities of India. Rainfall can be expected from late June and stops by mid of September. Even with rainfall, the humidity will be at high level. Winter starts only by November. The temperature falls down and cold waves are very common due to its proximity to Himalayan region. Winter ends by beginning of March.
